The stems of red spider lilies of the Nanatsumori-kofungun (the group of tumulus), a nationally designated historic site, have come out little by little.
Every year, around mid-September, the area around the tumulus is vividly colored.
The Nanatsumori-kofun Group is the oldest Kinai-type tumulus in the Hohi area, and is estimated to date from the early Kofun period and the end of the 3rd century. (Close to the days of Himiko and Emperor Keiko)
It seems that there were originally 7 tumuluses, but at the time of the resarch, there were 4 tumuluses.
There are A tumulus, B tumulus, C tumulus, and D tumulus, and many Taredamas, swords, bracelets have been excavated from the D tumulus.
There is Road Station Sugou nearby so that you can find fresh vegetables and special products grown in Taketa city.
